Opening hours change your choice even when the number is valid
If you confirm that the office has closed, stop the redial session and decide when another call makes sense. You do not need to exhaust the configured attempts. The AutoRedial facts page documents manual and notification stopping, not automatic detection of business hours.
This guide neither schedules a future call nor gives the app knowledge of the recipient’s hours. AutoRedial runs a session under configured conditions; deciding whether to continue remains your choice.
An example with hours checked outside the dialer
Fictional case: while trying to reach an office, you open its official website during the wait. It states that today’s service ends at 18:00. Your local time is later and you have checked that the schedule applies to that office and date.
You can proceed in this order:
- Stop the session using its stop control or notification.
- Check that you are no longer waiting for new attempts in that session.
- Keep the official hours reference and check exceptions or holidays before calling again.
- If useful, leave a short private note: “Check current opening hours before calling again.”
- When an appropriate window arrives, choose again whether to start a call.
The case does not establish that every office closes then or that another attempt could never connect. You stop because you have chosen to act on the information checked.
Stopping attempts and hanging up remain separate choices
If Android already shows a connected call, do not assume stopping the session hangs it up. AutoRedial never automatically hangs up an active call. Its documentation also explains that it does not analyze audio to distinguish a recording from a person once Android marks a connection.
If you hear an opening-hours message, listen and decide how to end the call yourself. Do not present that decision as automatic recording recognition. The session-stop and active-call guide explains the distinction.
A next step without a promised answer
A private note sends no notification to the office. Published hours do not guarantee immediate availability either. AutoRedial is a paid app on Google Play, requiring Android 10 or later and the default-dialer role. Check country, price and device there. Return to the product presentation to review its conditions before another session.
